Kies Motorsports Crank Bolt Lock, BMW N54/N55/S55 Application:N54 - 6 Bolt 268° Intake / 268° ExhaustThe Kies Motorsports Crank Bolt Lock acts to "lock" the crank bolt on the S55, N55, and N54 in an effort to prevent the crank bolt from backing out, which can lead to catastrophic engine failure. By locking the bolt into place, you virtually eliminate the possibility of the crank bolt working its way loose. Please note, by adding the Kies Crank Bolt Lock, it is still possible to spin a crank hub, however, it lessens the risk of the hub spinning
